Basecamp Tailgate Pad

The Basecamp Pad is the world’s best multi-use, lockable tailgate pad for pickup trucks. Made out of weatherproof materials, it’s built to live in the elements. With a wire beaded cable sandwiched between two nylon straps that connect to a combo locking carabiner, you can leave your truck knowing your tailgate pad isn’t going anywhere. It also provides an anchor point to lock up your bikes.

The Basecamp Pad features Cache’s patented molle webbing system which allows for easy attachment and removal of any one of our accessories (sold separately) such as the Jeffrey Cooler or Lounger Chair.  Once installed, you can use the Basecamp Pad's integrated payload strap to lock down bikes, surfboards, ladders, wood, and whatever else you need to secure to your tailgate.

Functional & Adaptable:

The Basecamp pad features an adjustable tie down strap that turns your tailgate into an anchor point. Tie-down bikes, surfboards, and anything else that sticks out of your tailgate.

Theft Resistent:

The Basecamp System is locked to your tailgate via a steel wire beaded cable that’s sandwiched between two industrial-size nylon straps. The strap then attaches to a combo locking carabiner that’s made with cast iron and reinforced with heat-treated steel components.
