The Tactical 1600 Pressurized Hydration Pack allows you to carry your gear in smartly positioned compartments, pockets, and panels. Attach additional pouches to the outer molle webbing and control the load with the built in compression straps.
What We Like about the Tactical 1600:
If you’re looking for a rugged hydration pack with tons of space, this is it. We particularly like the quick-release lateral compression straps and the quick release bedroll straps on the bottom. The elevated padded air mesh back panel and air mesh pack straps are comfortable even under heavy load. There’s easily enough space for two meals, socks, t-shirt, base layer, gloves, hat, emergency kit, flashlight, bedroll, maps, cell phone, binoculars, snacks, and more.
How Does the Pressurized System Work?
The Aquamira Reservoir is pressurized so you don’t need to suck the water out of the reservoir. In a few seconds, you can pressurize the reservoir with the attached pump. Once it’s pressurized, you open the valve and water shoots out the hose. This means you can use your pack to drink, cool off, clean gear, or share with others.
Optional On-the-Go Filtration:
One of the best features in the Aquamira design is that you can add an Aquamira Filter (sold separately) to the hose and turn the water reservoir into a backcountry filtration system. This means you can refill your pack from a river, stream, or other natural water source for an unlimited supply of clean, drinkable water. When you get home, you just flip the reservoir inside out and clean it in the dishwasher. It's that simple.
